Nice long talk on the phone today with Joe. Apparently Repressive De-Sublimation is a big topic in the book I'm reading. Huh. He talked to me about the repression of Levis and beer just as an unwelcome drop of Sam Adam's winter lager went down the wrong pipe. That this was a really good metaphor occurred to me right after a coughing fit.
