I'm not using blogspot anymore. It's too slow and you can't use it while you are in China.
Go to theweathertoday.org for The Weather Today. k?
(Also because I won't be using blogspot anymore I went ahead and sold out just to see how much revenue this thing generates in its dying days.)

It's my day off so of course it is going to be cold and rainy.
Today's Horoscope: I'm in the process of transitioning from eating Oreos and drinking Coke to drinking tea and eating Oreos.
Power went out today. I was told to sit tight and wait for an electrician to pop through. He must have solved the problem downstairs because the electricity just kicked on a little bit ago.
Spent some time with the dictionary learning how to say "it just turned on all by itself" just in case.

Back to the norm. The rain stopped while I was teaching. I recall in my meteorology class being asked why thunderstorms occur at night, and me thinking "good question". I don't remember the answer.
Today's Horoscope: Mercury mouth.
The book for my Business Negotiation press was published by my (pseudo) alma-mater, Qinghua university. Kind of a POS but I've got tons of material to distill, all I need to do is somehow get them to talk. Second half of my class was a bit of a lecture, and I don't think I'm qualified for those.

There's this strange bright light in the sky today. Everything is so bright...what's going on here?
Today's Horoscope: I thought about playing Lou Reed's version of "Teach the Gifted Children" off Growing up in Public but then I remembered that these are university level kids.
Maybe that's something I oughta pick up on guitar for myself.
Nailed two awesome sets of chord progressions last night: Ballad of a Thin Man by Dylan and How We Dissolve by the Thermals. Also picked off that organ riff from YLTs Big Day Coming, take note guitarists--it's a D chord.
Had a heart attack figuring out Pretty Good Looking (For a Girl) but pinned Your Southern Can is Mine in one straight shot. Sweet.

Grim forecast for the greater Liuzhou Metropolitan area.
Today's Horoscope: Word travels fast down from the 8th floor of a 5 star shopping mall.
Poked around the computer market today. Hangover headache all day. I drank quite a bit this weekend.
Turns out the bus situation between Liuzhou and Guilin is shit all over the map. I'll cope. Big ups to the Liuzhou Laowai for the lowdown.
Album of the Week: Once again, Painful, by Yo La Tengo. I counted, and I listened to this album 7 times in the last 60 hours. Every track is a winner.

I can hear the rain splattering on my aluminum awning. I've gotten used to it, I'll be asleep in 10.
Today's Horoscope: Definitely making a phone call tomorrow, figuring out this bus situation.
Guilin was a shit ton of fun! I have some pictures but the weather was grey and drizzly, but I still had a blast.
Good to see the Brothers Fried and the CLI facilities.
I'll catch up on these updates, but I'm quite exhausted.

Another cold and drizzly day. This is springtime in Liuzhou.
Today's Horoscope: Play it strange.
Good god the internet is slow.
I started downloading a movie ten days ago. It finished today.
Looking forward to taking down some personal travel barriers with a visit to Guilin. Be warned, might not be a post for Saturday.

Today is cold and grey, and by cold I mean like 55 degrees.
Today's Horoscope: Sun plows the flowerless spring.
Trying to keep off my feet today. Sure that won't be a problem.

Today is colder and surprisingly dry given all the clouds and what not.
Today's Horoscope: First day of March. Be very careful this month.
Second day of teaching today. These kids were a bit more English savvy than yesterday's bunch. I see a bright future here.
I've decided to add a new feature. Every week I will post a "rage" comic onto "reddit.com/r/fffffffuuuuuuuuuuuu". I've decided that they will serve as an appropriate outlet for my exegesis, whatever that is.
